One of the most demanded retros from the early 1990s era of Nike running is finally hitting stores this June. Sean Wotherspoon first gave us a look at the OG purple/teal colorway of the Nike Air Skylon for Men/Women some weeks ago, but it appears that Nike is bringing back two other original styles for women on June 2nd at Nike Sportswear retailers worldwide. You have the option of either the Court Purple/Solar Red or Amarillo/Total Orange on the unmistakeable lava-splatter gradient on the upper, but note that both versions are women’s colorways – so adjust your sizing accordingly.
A combo of “Light Bone” suede and soft grey mesh graces the upper, while a translucent midfoot Swoosh and grey Fear Of God branding on the lateral heel add pops of understated flair. Nike Air Skylon Price Online Small patches of reflective silver material bedeck the toe, and a perforated leather tongue/sockliner add just enough opulence to round off the look. A trifecta of lacing options also allows for customization.
Colorful detail is provided by a unique gradient fade on the midfoot that’s strikingly 90s: purple/teal on the “Clear Emerald,” purple/red on the “Court Purple,” and orange/yellow on the “Amarillo.” A bold Best Price Nike Air Skylon logo hit adorns the lateral side of each shoe, and extra branding arrives via Nike Air embroidery on the tongue and heel. The throwback look is finished off with Nike’s classic International logo on each shoe’s insoles.
After a luxurious collaboration courtesy of Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear Of God, Buy Nike Air Skylon is getting back to its colorful retro roots — it’s surfaced in a brand-new “Armory Navy” colorway. Using a mix of rich dark navy suede and mesh for the upper, this Skylon’s main accents arrive on the underlaid quarter panel, which features a red-to-yellow ombre-style fade for a plentiful helping of ’90s detail. A light “Photo Blue” Swoosh then appears over the top to serve as an intermediary between the stately navy base and the in-your-face colorful accents.
The Nike Air Skylon Sale silhouette has returned to action in 2018, releasing in multiple new and OG color schemes, showing off its dazzling midfoot. One of those OG iterations calls upon a shimmering Blue Lagoon and Grand Purple gradient pattern with blue branding on its lateral heel and heel stamp. Now, the Beaverton Brand is set to remix the Skylon with a very similar colorway that swaps out its white upper with a more fall and winter-ready black tone. A white Swoosh and midsole unit add contrast however, allowing for its deep purple-to-sky blue fade to garner most of the consumer’s attention.
